While neither team won overall, all players enjoyed themselves in a tournament that team manager Brendan Nitschke described as well-run.

"It was a similar team to last time, and this venue on grass is a lovely complex, and the teams were very competitive," Nitschke said.

"It was a well-run tournament from Tennis Victoria, and they deserve credit for it. It was the first tournament for some players, and they did a good job.

"Everyone enjoyed themselves and asked when the next one would be."

The next tournament will be the Alicia Molik Cup for the 12/u, which will be held on November 30 and December 1 at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club.

The 10-and-under team featuring Denley Tyler, Ben Wood, Maya Smith and Zetta Beattie tied Goulburn 3-3, lost to Central Gippsland 2-4, lost to Loddon Campaspe 2-4, lost to MPR 5-1 and defeated Barwon 4-2.

The 12-and-under team featuring Nicholas Gillespie, Nixon Beattie, Sienna Nitschke and Lydi Boyd defeated East Gippsland 6-0, tied Central Gippsland 3-3, tied Central Highlands 3-3 and lost to Barwon 2-4.

Brendan Nitschke said they nearly made the finals.

"They were so close, but that final game they lost pushed them into the playoff for 5th and 6th, and they ended up coming sixth, but they were competitive and played well."

The 14-and-under team featuring Eli Bailey, Yassasri Sumanapala, Emma Streeter and Sienna Wood defeated Central Highlands 5-1, lost to Loddon Campaspe 1-5, tied South West 3-3 and also tied North West 3-3.

They finished second in their group and played Goulburn for third place but lost 0-4.

In the 18-and-under, the team featuring D'Artagnan Walls, Jake Maher, Adele Joseph and Mia Rees lost to MPR 1-5, lost to South West 2-4 and lost to North East 0-6.
