Road closure to facilitate intersection upgrade
Residents and motorists are advised to prepare for temporary traffic changes while works commence at the O’Callaghans Parade and Baker Street intersection in Horsham.

The Horsham Rural City Council recently announced that a section of roadway will be closed from June 29 for about two weeks.
The works form part of the council’s ongoing road safety improvement program and are expected to proceed, weather permitting.
The council said the temporary closure would help complete construction efficiently and safely, while reducing overall disruption to the community.
Traffic Management measures and detour arrangements will be put into place throughout the construction period to maintain access where possible and ensure the safety of residents, workers, and motorists.
As part of the notification process, local businesses and residents affected by the closure have been provided with a Traffic Management Plan outlining temporary traffic arrangements and road closures, along with an alignment plan detailing the proposed roadway layout.
The Council has said it would continue working closely with the contractor to minimise disruptions and complete the project as efficiently as possible.
Residents seeking any further information about the traffic arrangements or works are encouraged to contact project manager Alan Clyne or visit the council's website.
