Pat Cash Cup returns
Some of the state's best and brightest tennis stars will converge on Horsham this weekend for the Pat Cash Cup.
The Victorian State Teams Championship returns to the Horsham Lawn Tennis Club on March 29-30, building on the successful tournaments in 2023 and 2024.
Thirteen teams and 175 players will compete in a round-robin format on the grass courts, representing metropolitan and county Victoria across three age groups, 12 and under, 14 and under and junior open.
“The Victorian State Teams Championships is a special event that brings together some of the most talented young players from across the state," Tennis Victoria chief executive Kim Kachel said.
"We’re thrilled to see Horsham Lawn Tennis Club hosting this prestigious tournament again, providing a fantastic setting for players to compete and showcase their skills.”
Kachel thanked the Horsham Rural City Council for hosting the Cup once again.
“As a region with a rich sporting culture, we are looking forward to hosting the state’s best and brightest tennis players and their families," Horsham Rural City Council mayor Ian Ross said
“We will be assured of a weekend of strong competition.”
