Receiving an extensive list of naming suggestions from the community, a panel of our Hopetoun residents and staff spent time considering the options, coming up with a combination that they felt best reflected the community and honoured both wonderful former Hopetoun Matron, Una Splatt, and our beautiful Mallee region.

Attending the announcement this morning, Una said she is humbled, but thrilled, to have been honoured this way.

Rural Northwest Health wishes to thank everyone who suggested names for the precinct, and the Loud Signs team of Andrew and Oscar for their hard work installing the sign.
