The $50,000 Emmetts Warracknabeal Cup returns to the Warracknabeal Racecourse on Saturday, April 19.

Two stables in form are Ben Will and JD Hayes in Jabbawockeez and Angry Skies.

Topweight Le Zebra from Emma-Lee and David Browne's stable has a winning chance.

Jabbawockeez hasn't started since its second at Randwick in August, but the stable will surely prepare it for a first-up victory.

Le Zebra failed in the Easter Cup over 2000m a fortnight ago at Caulfield, but had placings at Sandown and Flemington in January.

Flying Basil will be hoping for another Cup win following recent ones at Naracoorte and Hanging Rock.

Simon Wilde has El James entered, but it is a first up following three wins last Spring.

Salsbury Hill won a restricted race at Terang last Saturday.

The day will start with action on the track, with an eight-race program starting at 12:36 p.m.

There are many activities for the racegoers attending.

The Emmetts Warracknabeal Cup is race seven starting at 4.16pm.

Ross Johns and Warrack Concrete generously sponsor the Fashions on the Field feature and is available for males, females and children.

Entry to the fashions on the field is available on the course.

The first is after race two at 1.11pm for the juniors and teens.

After race three at 1.46pm, the lady, gentleman and couple of the day will be announced.

A photobooth is available on course for those who want a snap of themselves or a group.

The ever-popular Kelly Sports activities for the children is attending again in 2025, including the Easter Egg hunt.

Matty Chaps will again highlight the musical entertainment.

A well-stocked bar and first-class catering will satisfy the racegoer's needs.

The committee and management have worked hard to make the cup meeting enjoyable.

It has been an ongoing feature during Easter for more than 70 years.

After the last race, a courtesy bus will transport punters to the Palace Hotel.
